Amazing Homemade Cream of Mushroom Soup

The video below provides step-by-step instructions and the secret to this soup is all in the technique. Ingredients
1 Yellow onion
3 tbsps. unsalted butter
2 lbs. of mushrooms of your choice (Portobella, Mini Portobello, Button, Shiitake)
4 cloves of garlic
3 tbsps. of olive oil
1/2 cup of white wine
1/2 cup of all purpose flour
3 qt. chicken or vegetable stock
1 1/2 cup of heavy cream
3 tbsps. of olive oil for garnishing mushrooms
1 tbsps. of fresh thyme
3 tbsps. of fresh parsley (optional)
