Here is an easy fix that will cure your cravings especially on busy days!
Japanese-Inspired Salmon Poke Bowl
Ingredients - Salmon Sauce:
- 1/4 cup coconut aminos (or soy sauce, lesser if wanting this to be less salt)
- 1/4 cup rice vinegar
- 1 tbsp. sesame oil
- 1 tbsp. sriracha (optional)
- 2 green onions
Ingredients -Cabbage Slaw
- 1/4 cup rice vinegar
- 1 green onion
- 2 tbsp. tamari
- 2 tbsp. rice vinegar
- 1 tsp. sesame oil
- 1 tsp. ginger
- 1 tsp. garlic
- 2 cups shredded cabbage
Ingredients -Spicy Mayo:
- 5 tbsp. japanese mayo
- 5 tbsp. sriracha
Ingredients – Panko topping:
- 1 tsp. sesame oil
- 1/2 cup panko
- 1 tsp. garlic and onion powder
Procedure:
- Fry the salmon with salt and pepper, or airfry if no oil is desired.
- Toast the panko topping in a frying pan for 5 minutes (or until the panko turns slightly brown).
- Assemble the bowl with the rice on the bottom.
- Put half of the panko toppings on the rice and then add salmon and cabbage slaw.
- Drizzle the salmon with the salmon sauce and spicy mayo.
- Sprinkle the remaining half of the panko toppings on the whole bowl.
- Best if you add sliced cucumber and avocado as a topping.
